👋 About Me

"Good morning / Good afternoon everyone. My name is Ky Louangpraseuth, I am a French native speaker and I have been teaching English here in Bangkok for over 15 years. I am very happy to be here today to introduce myself and share with you my approach to teaching. For me, teaching English is not just about grammar and textbooks. It is about giving students the confidence to speak, to express themselves, and to feel comfortable in the language. That is my number one priority in every single class. I believe that every student can learn English — they just need the right environment, the right energy, and a teacher who truly listens and understands them. I take the time to connect with my students, to understand their difficulties, and to adapt my lessons to their needs. In my classroom, learning is alive. I use images, videos, real-life situations, and digital tools from the internet to make lessons engaging and meaningful. When students can see, hear, and feel the language in context, they absorb it naturally and they remember it. I love organising activities — role plays, group discussions, storytelling, games — because I believe that when students are having fun, they are learning without even realising it. My goal is to create a classroom where students want to participate, where they are not afraid to make mistakes, and where every lesson feels like a real conversation. I am open, patient, and enthusiastic. I bring energy and creativity to everything I do, and I genuinely enjoy what I do every single day. I am ready to start immediately and I look forward to bringing that energy to your school. Thank you.
