Professional Profile

I have completed a Foundations Phase Teaching – Grade R course through Damelin, as well as a 120-hour Advanced TEFL/TESOL certificate. My teaching studies gave me a foundation in working with young learners, while my TEFL training prepared me to teach English as a foreign language. Although my professional experience has mainly been in customer service, sales and operations, I have extensive experience communicating with and supporting people, training and supervising others, explaining information clearly, and creating positive experiences. I am patient, approachable and enthusiastic, and I would love the opportunity to develop these qualities further in a classroom environment.

Teaching Methodology

I will make my classroom a fun and practical environment where kids will be confident enough to want to participate. They will learn pronunciation, reading, writing as well as speaking all through a level of passion and fun.
