Sticky Stars

Children earn a sticky star on the board every time they say a word correctly.

📋 How to Play

Write each child's name on the whiteboard in a column.
Hold up a flashcard and point to a child.
If they say the word correctly they come up and stick a star next to their name.
Continue around the class giving everyone a turn.
Count stars together at the end — everyone who earned a star gets a round of applause.
For extra challenge ask children to use the word in a sentence for a bonus star.
Keep a running total across multiple lessons to build motivation.
