⏱ 5-10 min⚡ High energyðŸ‘Ĩ Whole class

📚 Vocabulary

â€Ē yes or no questions
â€Ē true or false
â€Ē is it an animal?
â€Ē is it red?

🛠 Materials

â€Ē A line of tape on the floor (or draw a chalk line outside)
â€Ē Optional: YES and NO signs on the wall

📋 How to Play

  1. Put a long strip of tape on the floor — children stand on the line.
  2. Point to the left side and say "YES" — point to the right and say "NO".
  3. Practise jumping left and right a few times together.
  4. Teacher asks a yes or no question — "Is a cat an animal?"
  5. Children jump LEFT for yes or RIGHT for no.
  6. Confirm the answer — "Yes! A cat IS an animal! Jump left!"
  7. Anyone who jumped the wrong way sits out for one round.
  8. Keep going — last child standing wins.

ðŸ’Ą Teacher Tips

✓Put YES and NO signs on the walls to help children remember which side is which.
✓Start with very obvious questions before making them trickier.
✓Play without elimination for younger or less confident children.
✓This game is perfect for reviewing lesson content in the last 5 minutes of class.

🔄 Variations

→Use four zones instead of two — for multiple choice questions.
→Play outside using chalk lines on the ground.
→Let children take turns asking the questions.
