ð How to Play
- Clear a space in the classroom so children can move freely.
- Tell children: "When the music plays, dance around. When it stops, freeze!"
- Play music and let children dance for 10-15 seconds.
- Stop the music and shout a body part â for example: "NOSE!"
- Children must freeze and touch their nose.
- Anyone who touches the wrong body part or keeps moving sits down for one round.
- Keep playing until one child is left standing â they are the winner!
- For younger children, play without elimination â just touch and repeat together.
ðĄ Teacher Tips
âStart slow and speed up as children get more confident.
âUse this game to review body parts vocabulary from the lesson.
âLet a child be the "caller" once they know the words well.
âPlay music children enjoy â familiar songs work best.
ð Variations
âUse colours instead of body parts â "Touch something RED!"
âUse classroom objects â "Touch your CHAIR!"
âUse animal sounds instead of calling words â children identify the body part from a clue.
