📋 How to Play
- Divide the class into two teams facing each other.
- Teacher announces a category — "Animals!"
- Team A starts by saying one animal — "Lion!"
- Team B must immediately respond with a different animal — "Tiger!"
- Teams volley back and forth like a volleyball rally.
- A team loses the point if they repeat a word, hesitate too long, or say a wrong word.
- The team that wins the most rallies wins the game.
- Change the category after each rally.
💡 Teacher Tips
✓Set a clear time limit for each response — 3 seconds maximum.
✓Write used words on the board so there are no disputes.
✓This game builds vocabulary breadth and quick recall simultaneously.
✓Use categories from the current lesson for maximum relevance.
🔄 Variations
→Use sentences instead of single words for more advanced groups.
→Play with alphabet order — each word must start with the next letter.
→Individual volleyball — students take turns instead of teams.
