âĒ Word cards (one word per card for each sentence)

ð How to Play
- Prepare sets of word cards â each set contains the words of one sentence scrambled.
- Example: cards might say "the / cat / sat / on / the / mat"
- Give one scrambled set to each team face down on the desk.
- On "GO!" teams flip their cards and race to arrange them into a correct sentence.
- First team to arrange their sentence correctly and read it aloud wins the round.
- Teacher checks the sentence is grammatically correct.
- Play 5-8 rounds with different sentences each time.
- Team with the most round wins at the end wins overall.

âInclude punctuation cards â full stop, question mark, comma.
âStart with short sentences and increase length as teams improve.
âThis game is outstanding for reinforcing word order and sentence structure.

âPlay individually â first student to arrange correctly wins.
âInclude one extra wrong word â teams must identify and remove it.
âUse two sentences mixed together â teams must separate and arrange both.
