- Example questions: "Is it red?" "Is it made of plastic?" "Can you write with it?"
- Teacher answers only YES or NO.
- Keep count of questions on the board.
- Students can guess the object at any time â but a wrong guess costs 2 question turns.
- The student who correctly identifies the object wins the round.
- Let a student choose and hide the next object.
ðĄ Teacher Tips
âPre-teach question starters â Is it? Does it? Can it? Has it got?
âUse classroom objects so vocabulary is relevant and familiar.
âEncourage logical questioning â start with material, then size, then colour.
âThis game naturally teaches deductive reasoning alongside English.
ð Variations
âUse a picture card instead of a real object.
âPlay in teams â teams take turns asking one question each.
âStudent holds the bag and feels the object â they describe it while class guesses.
