ð How to Play
- All children stand up.
- Teacher asks the first child a vocabulary or spelling question.
- If they answer correctly, they stay standing.
- If they answer incorrectly, they sit down and are out for this round.
- Move to the next child and ask a new question.
- Keep going around the room â increasing difficulty as children get eliminated.
- The last child still standing wins.
- Play multiple rounds â give everyone a chance to win.
ðĄ Teacher Tips
âStart with easier questions and gradually increase difficulty.
âGive weaker students easier questions so they stay in the game longer.
âKeep eliminated children engaged by letting them help judge answers.
âThis is a great end-of-unit review game â covers lots of vocabulary quickly.
ð Variations
âGive children a lifeline â they can ask a classmate for help once per game.
âPlay in teams â a wrong answer sits the whole team down.
âSpeed round â questions must be answered in 3 seconds or the child is out.
