📋 How to Play

  1. Children sit in a circle on the floor.
  2. Teacher holds the ball and asks a question — "What colour is a banana?"
  3. Teacher rolls the ball to any child.
  4. That child must answer the question — "Yellow!"
  5. If correct they get to roll the ball to another child and ask the next question.
  6. If incorrect the ball goes back to the teacher.
  7. Continue until all questions have been answered.
  8. For advanced groups children make up their own questions.

💡 Teacher Tips

Use a soft foam ball so it is safe to roll indoors.
Prepare questions in advance from the lesson vocabulary.
The physical action of rolling the ball adds excitement to simple Q&A.
This works as a great review activity at the end of any lesson.

🔄 Variations

Whoever catches the ball must ask the question — teacher only rolls first.
Use a timer — child has 5 seconds to answer before ball goes back.
Play in small groups of 4-5 for more turns per child.
