- The guesser becomes the next mime artist.
- Continue until everyone has had a turn or time runs out.
- Teacher can show a flashcard face down to remind the mime artist of the word.
ðĄ Teacher Tips
âAction verbs and animals work best for this age group.
âDemonstrate a mime yourself first so children understand what is expected.
âGive shy children easier words so they feel confident performing.
âThis game generates lots of speaking as children shout out their guesses.
ð Variations
âTeam mime â whole team mimes together while the other team guesses.
âTwo children mime at the same time â class must guess both words.
âAdd a sound effect â one sound is allowed to help the class guess.
