Two students race to slap the correct flashcard when teacher calls the word.

ð How to Play
- Lay 6-8 flashcards face up on the desk or floor.
- Two children stand on either side of the cards.
- Each child places one hand behind their back.
- Teacher calls a vocabulary word.
- Children race to SLAP the correct flashcard with their free hand.
- Whoever slaps it first wins a point.
- Play 5 rounds then swap in new players.
- The child with the most points at the end wins.
ðĄ Teacher Tips
âRemind children to be gentle â no hitting each other, only the cards!
âUse a maximum of 8 cards so children can see them all easily.
âIncrease difficulty by adding more cards as children improve.
âCan be played on the floor for more space.
ð Variations
âCall the definition instead of the word â children must identify the correct card.
âCall a sentence with a gap â children slap the answer.
âPlay in teams of two â teammates can consult before slapping.
