📋 How to Play

  1. Lay 6-8 flashcards face up on the desk or floor.
  2. Two children stand on either side of the cards.
  3. Each child places one hand behind their back.
  4. Teacher calls a vocabulary word.
  5. Children race to SLAP the correct flashcard with their free hand.
  6. Whoever slaps it first wins a point.
  7. Play 5 rounds then swap in new players.
  8. The child with the most points at the end wins.

💡 Teacher Tips

Remind children to be gentle — no hitting each other, only the cards!
Use a maximum of 8 cards so children can see them all easily.
Increase difficulty by adding more cards as children improve.
Can be played on the floor for more space.

🔄 Variations

Call the definition instead of the word — children must identify the correct card.
Call a sentence with a gap — children slap the answer.
Play in teams of two — teammates can consult before slapping.
