📋 How to Play

Children work in pairs sitting back to back so they cannot see each other.
Child A gets a flashcard — Child B gets paper and pencil.
Child A describes what they see using English — "It is big and round and orange."
Child B listens and draws what they hear.
After 2 minutes they turn around and compare the drawing to the flashcard.
Award points for how close the drawing matches.
Swap roles — Child B now gets a new flashcard to describe.

✓Pre-teach describing vocabulary — big, small, round, square, red, blue — before playing.

✓Model the activity with a student first so everyone understands.

✓This game builds both speaking and listening skills simultaneously.

✓The funnier the drawings turn out the more children enjoy it.

→Use a simple scene instead of a single object — describe a whole picture.

→Child B must guess the word rather than draw it.

→Give child A a time limit of 30 seconds to describe.
